I use art as a tool to provoke feelings that can be hard to name. My work lies at the intersection of emotion and craft.

Viral Dwellings is a series of single unit pieces that are metaphors for the environments we inhabit. During this time of global pandemic, quarantine and national tension it is easy to feel isolated. The future is uncertain these circles and their figures are a manifestation of that uncertainty.
I wanted to integrate AR into this piece but because of the means of display at HangArt SF it was not a good fit. I’ve included a test video and the accompanying animations. Perhaps in a different display context I will integrate it.
Each Piece is 13 x 13 and they were installed at Hang Art sf from October to February 2021
